Want to make a difference? Why not try volunteering at Pleasley Hill or Ladybrook Children’s Centres? There are a wide variety of roles available for those who want to try their hand at something new or get back to the work you love.
These include: Admin supporter, Play & Learning Assistant, Community Assistant, Befriender, Group Leader, Group fundraiser, Parents Representative, Allotment Supporter
As a volunteer you will receive induction training and access to a wide range of training opportunities, great for CV building. Out of pocket expenses are reimbursed and won’t affect your benefits. Volunteering is flexible and can fit around your other commitments, you can volunteer as often as you like and at a time that suits you and your family. You will be welcomed into teams and invited to attend team meetings, events and training that is relevant to your role. You will be well supported with an allocated mentor and supervisor to provide regular support and one to one supervision and you will receive ongoing training and support from the staff team. You will have chance to meet with other volunteers and make new friends at our meetings especially for volunteers which are held approximately 4 times per year.
